The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a 3-year, $105.9 million extension with defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That works out to $35.3 million per year.

Adam Schefter reports the contract includes $101 million in total guarantees and $63.35 million fully guaranteed at signing, which Schefter says is the most fully guaranteed money at signing for a DT in NFL history. For context, CBS Sports had previously reported that Jeffery Simmons held that record at $60.2 million fully guaranteed at signing.

Rapoport describes the deal as the third-largest contract in history for a defensive lineman. The RapSheet tweet in the original post called it "the largest third-contract ever for a DL," though that specific framing was not confirmed in other reports.

How Williams got to Dallas

The Cowboys acquired Williams from the New York Jets ahead of last year's trade deadline, sending a package that included a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027 first-round pick, and DL Mazi Smith, per Rapoport. Williams was entering the final year of his prior Jets contract at the time.

In seven games with Dallas last season, Williams totaled 1.5 sacks, 21 tackles, and 3 tackles for loss, per Rapoport. He has been named to four consecutive Pro Bowls and earned first-team All-Pro honors in 2022.
