Puka Nacua hires WIN Sports Group for contract talks
Rams WR Puka Nacua has hired WIN Sports Group to represent him in contract negotiations, according to Adam Schefter. Nacua is entering the final year of his four-year, $4.1 million rookie contract with Los Angeles.
The timing makes sense. Nacua led the NFL in receptions in 2025 with 129 catches and finished second in receiving yards with 1,717. He is grossly underpaid on his current deal and will earn roughly $7.67 million in 2026 after a proven performance escalator kicks in. Spotrac projects his market value at around $160 million over four years, which would put him in the same range as the top receivers in the league. For reference, Jaxon Smith-Njigba recently became the highest-paid receiver in the NFL at $42.15 million per year.
Will the Rams extend him before the season?
Ian Rapoport reported earlier this offseason that a Nacua extension is a priority for the Rams, but also that Los Angeles is not expected to get a deal done before the regular season begins. GM Les Snead has not committed publicly to a timeline. Nacua told reporters at training camp he has not thought about holding out.
There is also an off-field wrinkle. Nacua checked into rehab for alcohol and drug addiction earlier this offseason. He is back with the team for training camp, but a potential suspension could complicate contract negotiations by affecting guaranteed money, depending on how any deal is structured.
What this means for your fantasy roster
Nacua is at camp and working. No holdout, no indication he misses time in 2026. He stays a WR1 in redraft based on what he produced last season.
For dynasty managers, this is worth watching. If no extension gets done, Nacua hits free agency after 2026, which adds real long-term value to his dynasty profile. The hiring of an agent who will push for a top-of-market deal could drag negotiations into the season, but that does not affect his on-field role with the Rams. Treat him as a locked-in starter until something changes.
