Connor Hulstein signs with the Jets
Tight end Connor Hulstein agreed to terms with the New York Jets, per Adam Schefter. The deal is consistent with a post-draft UDFA signing ahead of rookie minicamp.
Hulstein, 6'5" and roughly 245 pounds, spent one season at Marist University after transferring from Princeton, where he played in 26 games over four years. In his lone season with the Red Foxes, he caught 42 passes for 599 yards and set Marist single-season records for receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and yards per reception (14.3) by a tight end. He earned Second Team All-American honors at the FCS level.
What this means for fantasy rosters
Nothing yet. Hulstein is an undrafted FCS tight end walking into a Jets camp where he will need to beat out veteran competition just to reach the practice squad. He carries no fantasy value at this stage in redraft or dynasty formats. Monitor him if he flashes in preseason, but there is no reason to add him now.
