Zay Flowers signs four-year, $140 million extension with Baltimore
Zay Flowers, WR for the Baltimore Ravens, agreed to a four-year, $140 million extension that includes $108 million guaranteed, per Adam Schefter, who cited Win Sports Group, Flowers' agency. The contract averages $35 million per year.
That figure ties Justin Jefferson in new-money average per year and lands above CeeDee Lamb ($34M). It sits below the Drake London tier ($35.25M with Atlanta) and well below the market reset Jaxon Smith-Njigba set with Seattle at $42.15 million per year. For context, the current wide receiver rankings by new-money average look like this:
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba: $42.15M
- Ja'Marr Chase: $40.25M
- Drake London: $35.25M
- Zay Flowers: $35M
- Justin Jefferson: $35M
- CeeDee Lamb: $34M
Given what Flowers has produced, it is a fair reflection of his standing at the position.
What Flowers has done to earn this
Flowers has grown his production in each of his three NFL seasons since Baltimore took him 22nd overall in the 2023 draft. In 2025 he set career highs with 86 receptions, 1,211 receiving yards, and six total touchdowns, topping 1,000 yards for the second straight year. He is a two-time Pro Bowl selection and has been Baltimore's leading receiver every season he has played.
Ravens GM Eric DeCosta made no secret that locking Flowers up was a priority, saying publicly: "I love Zay. Zay wants to be here. We want Zay here."
Fantasy impact of the Zay Flowers extension
This changes nothing about the role and everything about the certainty. Flowers was already the primary target for Lamar Jackson. The extension removes any lingering distraction or contract-year noise and keeps him in Baltimore through the life of a contract that will run well past your current redraft horizon.
In dynasty formats, his value goes up. You are not betting on a pending free agent anymore. In redraft, he is a borderline WR1 with a clear path to a top-12 season as long as Jackson is healthy.
Hold him wherever he sits on your roster. There is no reason to move him now.
