Alec Pierce missing Colts camp; Downs groin injury not serious
Colts WR Alec Pierce has not practiced at all this training camp after a March ankle cleanup procedure left him on the active PUP list. WR Josh Downs' groin injury is not serious, and coach Shane Steichen said he could potentially return for Tuesday's joint practice at New England. Jonathan Taylor extension: 2 years, $44M with Colts
Jonathan Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts agreed on a two-year extension worth $44 million, up to $47 million with incentives, including $39 million guaranteed. He signed it the same day. At $22 million a year in new money he is the third-highest-paid running back in the league, and there is no holdout or trade risk left to price into his draft cost.
