OBJ back in No. 13 with the Giants

Odell Beckham Jr., WR, New York Giants, is back in his original number. The Giants confirmed Beckham is returning to No. 13, the number he wore during his first run with the team.

Beckham made the Giants' initial 53-man roster and reclaimed the number from Jalin Hyatt, a 2023 third-round pick who had been wearing it. Hyatt was waived, per reports, though his final roster status is not fully confirmed.

Beckham addressed the number change directly. "I think we all know what that means to me," he said. "It definitely will be some conversations. I'll just say we'll see what happens. But like I said, it would be an honor and privilege to put that back on."

What this means for fantasy

Beckham is on the active roster, which is what matters for fantasy purposes. He is a viable option to roster in redraft leagues depending on his role in the Giants offense. The Hyatt waiver removes one name from the receiver depth chart, which could open up target share for Beckham.
