Josh Jacobs court appearance moved to Sept. 10

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs will make his initial court appearance on Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. CT at the Brown County courthouse, more than two months earlier than the originally scheduled Nov. 17 date, per ESPN's Rob Demovsky and Adam Schefter. Jacobs faces misdemeanor charges of battery and criminal destruction of property.

What this means for your roster

The legal calendar moving up does not by itself change Jacobs' status on the depth chart. What fantasy managers need to watch is whether the Packers take any internal disciplinary action or whether the NFL opens a conduct review. Until either of those things happens, Jacobs' role with Green Bay is unchanged. Keep him where he is for now, but track any team or league response following the Sept. 10 appearance.
