Chiefs release Wesley Bissainthe, college return possible

The Kansas City Chiefs released rookie linebacker Wesley Bissainthe, according to Adam Schefter. Bissainthe signed with Kansas City as an undrafted free agent out of Miami and never factored into fantasy rosters.

College return is on the table

Bissainthe is one of 41 players listed as plaintiffs on a temporary restraining order granted by a Dallas judge. That TRO gives him the legal option to return to college this season, and Schefter reports he is considering it.

For fantasy purposes, there is nothing to act on here. Bissainthe was not in any relevant depth chart conversation, and his release does not open anything meaningful at linebacker in Kansas City.
