Chargers trade Avery Smith and TeRah Edwards on the same day

The Los Angeles Chargers made two trades on Sunday, moving cornerback Avery Smith and defensive lineman TeRah Edwards for future late-round picks, per Adam Schefter.

Smith goes to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round pick. Edwards heads to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for a 2028 sixth-round pick. Both trades are pending physicals.
