Ben Johnson wants Bears offense to be highest-scoring ever

Ben Johnson sets an extreme bar for the Bears offense

Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson told Dan Pompei of The Athletic that he wants the Bears to have the "highest-scoring offense ever." That is the stated goal, per Adam Schefter.

Johnson did not qualify it. He did not say "one of the best" or "top ten." He said the highest-scoring offense ever.

What this means for your roster

A coaching staff chasing that kind of output is going to feed its playmakers. Bears skill position players, quarterback included, carry real upside going into the season. Volume and usage in a system built around maximum scoring is exactly the environment fantasy managers want their players in.

If Johnson comes anywhere close to that ceiling, Bears pass-catchers and the backfield become strong start candidates every week. Treat this as a bullish signal on Chicago's offense heading into drafts.
