Jeff Hafley promises 40-touch games for De'Von Achane

Jeff Hafley's De'Von Achane workload promise is fantasy gold

Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley told The Rich Eisen Show that running back De'Von Achane could see more than 40 touches in a single game. That is a remarkable statement from a head coach, and it tells you exactly how Miami plans to use him.

Achane already profiles as one of the most explosive backs in the league, and now his own coach is publicly committing to a massive touch share. Games with 40-plus touches mean rushing attempts, receptions, and likely return work all feeding into that number. Any way you count it, that is bell-cow volume.

What this means for your roster

In PPR formats, a back who catches passes and gets 40 touches has league-winner upside on a weekly basis. Hafley's comments on national radio are not a throwaway line. Coaches do not casually promise 40-touch games without intent to follow through, at least in principle.

If you do not already have Achane locked in as a starter, this is your cue. His dynasty value rises too, since scheme commitment from a coaching staff is exactly what you want confirmed before investing long-term.
