All 32 NFL teams will have reported to 2025 training camp by end of day Wednesday, July 23, per Adam Schefter. Twenty-six clubs checked in Tuesday, the Chargers and Lions came in last week as early arrivals ahead of the Hall of Fame Game, and the Cowboys and Chiefs reported Monday.
The Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers are the last two teams to arrive, reporting Wednesday.
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan nearly lost his right eye in a July 14 car crash in Palo Alto, according to close friend Chris Simms, who said Shanahan's wife sent him photos of the injuries shortly after the accident. Shanahan broke his nose, three ribs, and his hand, needed more than 40 stitches, and is still dealing with lingering concussion symptoms. Assistant head coach Chris Foerster and the team's coordinators are handling head coaching duties, which matters for fantasy managers holding 49ers skill players heading into 2025.

Most teams start actual practice Wednesday. They open in shorts and shells before adding helmets and pads over the following days, so meaningful evaluation of skill players begins this week.

"Back Together Weekend" runs July 26-27 on NFL Network, giving a first live look at most rosters. Preseason games follow in August before the regular season opens September 5 with the Chiefs hosting the Chargers in Brazil.

Adrian Peterson will be inducted into the Minnesota Vikings Ring of Honor on November 9, 2026. The ceremony falls during a Monday Night Football Week 9 home game against the Buffalo Bills. No fantasy roster implications for Peterson, but the Vikings-Bills MNF matchup is worth circling for Josh Allen and Minnesota skill players.
