Tyreek Hill injury update: no power in left leg yet

Tyreek Hill says he still has no power in his left leg, roughly 10 months after a severe knee injury ended his 2025 season early.

"So it's about 10 months after doing two surgeries. My left leg is the one that I injured. I have no power in my left leg, so I'm trying to regain all the power back in my left leg. But it's one day at a time," Hill said in a rehab video titled 'Cheetah, Reborn.'

What happened to Tyreek Hill's knee

Hill, a wide receiver, dislocated his knee and tore multiple ligaments, including his ACL, on September 29, 2025, during a Monday Night Football game against the New York Jets. The injury happened in the third quarter when his knee got caught under him while bracing after a tackle. He underwent two surgeries.

The Miami Dolphins released Hill on February 16, 2026, clearing $22.8 million in cap space per Spotrac. He had $11 million set to become fully guaranteed that month, making the cut expected.

No timetable, no team

Hill is 31 years old and unsigned. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, put it plainly: "Right now, he's still in the midst of a rigorous recovery and rehab. There really isn't a set timetable on when he's going to be ready to go."

Hill hinted at optimism without giving specifics: "I ain't going to tell you what my timeline is, but timeline looking real good right now, man."

NFL.com has reported it is unclear when, or even if, Hill will play in 2026.

Hill is undraftable in redraft formats. No team, no timetable, and his own words confirm he lacks basic explosive function in the injured leg. Any team interest will depend on medical evaluations.
