Free-agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill posted a rehab video this week and delivered a sobering update on his recovery from the knee injury he suffered in Week 4 of the 2025 season.
"So it's about 10 months after doing two surgeries. My left leg is the one that I injured. I have no power in my left leg, so I'm trying to regain all the power back in my left leg. But it's one day at a time," Hill said in the clip, titled "Cheetah, Reborn."
Hill dislocated his knee and tore multiple ligaments, including his ACL, on September 29, 2025, during a Monday Night Football game against the New York Jets. The injury occurred in the third quarter when his knee got caught under him while trying to brace himself after a tackle.

The Dolphins released Hill on February 16, 2026, clearing $22.8 million in cap space according to Spotrac. He would have had $11 million become fully guaranteed that month, making the move expected. Hill is now a free agent at 31 years old with no team signed.
His agent Drew Rosenhaus confirmed the situation is still open-ended: "Right now, he's still in the midst of a rigorous recovery and rehab. There really isn't a set timetable on when he's going to be ready to go."
Hill himself offered a vague but optimistic note: "I ain't going to tell you what my timeline is, but timeline looking real good right now, man."
NFL.com has reported it is unclear when, or even if, Hill will play in 2026.
Fantasy Outlook
Hill is undraftable in redraft formats. He has no team, no confirmed timetable, and his own words confirm he lacks basic explosive function in the injured leg roughly 10 months post-surgery. Any team interest will hinge on medical evaluations, not his name value.
In dynasty, treat him as a high-risk hold at best. There is a world where Hill returns as a productive receiver on the other side of rehab, but nothing about his current situation supports paying up for him or counting on him for 2026.
