George Kittle activated from PUP list

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has been activated from the Active/Physically Unable to Perform List, according to Adam Schefter. The move clears Kittle to participate in all team activities heading into the 2025 season.

Kittle underwent Achilles repair surgery on January 14 after suffering the tear on January 11. The tear was described as clean and located high up near the soleus muscle. Earlier check-ups with orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache showed his recovery was ahead of schedule, and the activation confirms that progress has continued.
