CBS NFL analyst and former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was arrested Thursday night in Milwaukee on suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence, according to an arrest report from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, first reported by Adam Schefter and confirmed by the AP and TMZ.
What Happened
Romo, 46, was pulled over around 6:18 p.m. while traveling southbound on I-43 on the Hoan Bridge. Deputies took him into custody after he performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He was booked and released around 11 p.m. the same night.
The charge is OWI, first offense. It is not confirmed in reports whether Romo submitted to or declined breath testing.
His court date is set for September 21 at 8:30 a.m.
