Kirk Cousins and Maxx Crosby held out after practice scuffle
Kirk Cousins (QB, Las Vegas Raiders) and Maxx Crosby (DE, Las Vegas Raiders) were held out of practice for violating team rules after a fight Friday, according to Adam Schefter, who cited Raiders HC Klint Kubiak's comments to reporters.
The scuffle itself is confirmed by multiple outlets. During a team period Friday in Henderson, Nevada, Crosby hit Cousins on the arm twice. After the second hit, Cousins confronted Crosby and grabbed his jersey before teammates separated them. No punches were thrown, per The Athletic. Cousins stayed on the field to finish the drive; Crosby was sent to the sideline.
Kubiak's post-practice comments Friday downplayed the incident. He said the two are "leaders of our team" and noted that smart play means avoiding that kind of contact. The claim that Kubiak later announced a hold-out as discipline comes from Schefter's post and has not been independently confirmed in the research available here.
What this means for your roster
This does not appear to involve any injury. The fight was a training camp dust-up, not a health concern for either player. Cousins is reportedly healthy and finished the practice session. Crosby is a defensive player with no fantasy value in standard formats.
If the discipline is a single missed practice, there is no actionable fantasy consequence. Monitor for any escalation in punishment or reports of injury coming out of the session, but neither player needs to move on your roster based on what is confirmed right now.
