Chase Bisontis torn MCL: out most or all of season

By

Chase Bisontis torn MCL ends his season early

Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Chase Bisontis, a second-round pick, tore his MCL in a game against the Las Vegas Raiders and will need surgery, according to Adam Schefter and Mike Garafolo. Only the MCL will be repaired. Bisontis is expected to miss most, or potentially all, of the season.

What this means for the Cardinals offensive line

Bisontis was considered one of Arizona's promising young players along the offensive line. Losing him this early forces the Cardinals to turn to their remaining depth at the position. Fantasy managers rostering Cardinals skill players, particularly running backs who depend on that line, should monitor how the depth chart shakes out in the coming days.

There is no fantasy asset to add here directly. The move to watch is who steps into Bisontis's role and whether that changes the blocking picture for any Cardinals backfield or passing game pieces you already own.
